Anyone who’s a fan of Marvel Teams knows that at some point, a certain character showed a power of one kind or another that was never mentioned again in other stories, or that only comes back when it’s needed for the story being told. And Wolverine didn’t escape it narrative trope.

In many stories about the character and X-Men we see Logan adventuring through the jungle and other inhospitable places with dangerous animals. However, in addition to fighting animals gigantic and brutal, the character always ends up also forming bonds with some other, more “domestic” creatures, mostly wolves This Wild dog.

It comes from strength often forgotten This little used character: Animal empathy. In the comics of the 80s and 90s, mostly stories written by Chris Claremont and Peter David, Wolverine always demonstrated Emotional and primal attachment to animals.

In several comics, Wolverine speaks to animals that understand him perfectly.

In a conversation with Jubilee, the character is already called family wolf pack, saying that it was taken by their ancestors. However, in later comics, the character seems to lose or forget this ability most of the time, but this power usually returns when needed for the story or the current writer is a fan of the hero’s classic comics.
