With this add-on, the story can be very different.
Attention: spoiler!
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania hit cinemas opening a new chapter not only Marvel Cinematic Universeas well as history Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) This Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). Despite informing the public of the current status of the characters, an element that was part of the recording was ultimately left out: Wasp would have a baby in the plot, which was cut from the final cut of the film.
The information was posted on the child actor’s Instagram profile. Lucas Grantwho will play Hope’s son. In a post written by Lucas’ mother, she talks about her son’s experience, who would have been happy even if the plot hadn’t hit theaters. A boy can be seen in the images with Evangeline Lilly, as well as a photo of the two and a little girl who may be another of the character’s daughters. In the background you can see the blue screen used to turn on the digital effects scenarios later.
The headline reads:
“Message from Mom: Lucas had an incredibly cool experience working on his first movie last year… and it was a Marvel movie on top of that! He played the Wasp/Hope’s son in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania and had a great time working with Evangeline (the cutest person on Earth!). Peyton [Reed]the director was also incredibly accommodating and Lucas had a great experience working with everyone on the film!
Unfortunately, as sometimes happens, the story changed after he left and his scenes didn’t make it into the final cut of the movie.
However, he was very grateful for this experience! He had a great time and will forever have memories of his first film!”
Another notable moment of the images is the difference in Hope’s appearance, who appears with longer, blonder hair than at any point in the film. This led to speculation about when the story would introduce this plot, giving rise to theories that the character and Scott would be trapped in the Quantum Realm together at the end of the film, starting a family there. Thus, the time jump would justify both the age of the children and the differences in the appearance of the heroine.
However, nothing has been confirmed and it is unknown how Hope’s son will fit into the plot. As such, the public is left to hope that the team behind the film eventually reveals more details, or that the deleted scenes are released in the future.
