The film will show the struggle between different Na’vi tribes.
After great success Avatar: Path of Watermany fans are looking forward to the next chapters of the epic adventure James Cameron and, in a new interview, a franchise producer John Landau revealed some information about the new tribe that will appear in the third film, the leader of which will be played by Una Chaplin, from Game of Thrones.
In an interview with a magazine empire (by using Diversity), Landau talked about how films avatar will introduce the Na’vi, who are not as nice as the tribes we met in the first two films:
“There are good people and there are bad people. The same goes for the Na’vi. People often do not consider themselves bad. What makes them develop into what we consider a bad thing? There may be other factors that we don’t know about.”
Thus, for the first time we will see the battle between the peoples of the Na’vi. In the same interview, Landau confirmed that Una Chaplin will interpret varang, Chief of the Ash tribedescribed as “aggressive and volcanic race” from the Na’vi. The actress was confirmed for the role in the franchise in June 2017, but only now it became known who she will play.
Chaplin best known for her role in Game of Thrones in which she plays Talisa Meigir, a healer who falls in love with and marries Robb Stark (Richard Madden), leading to a tragic and iconic red marriage a series. After the HBO series. Chaplin – who is the granddaughter of film icon Charles Chaplin – also participated in Black mirrorin episode White Christmas; a series tabooalong with Tom Hardy and Jessie Buckley; and recently starred in the series Treason along with Olga Kurylenko, Kieran Hinds and Charlie Cox.
Avatar 3 will debut in December 2024.
