The character almost got a 90s look
Each production goes through an intensive creative process. With a few ideas discarded, some fade into the background while others are published in feature books dedicated to film and TV production. This is the case of the discarded image from Black Widow. comics inspired 90sart was revealed in a book Marvel Black Widow: The Art of Cinema (Black Widow: The Art of Cinema in literal translation).
In it we can see Natasha Romanoff with a minimalist look. With short hair and gray clothes, the heroine has many of the features seen in the final cut of the film, but with art references. Jim Lee.

Natasha’s uniform concept was created Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios, Andy Park. According to the book, Park not only wanted to make references to the comics, but also included details that resembled the shape of a spider.
“I thought it would be really cool… With lines incorporating a subtle black widow shape.”
The artist also commented that he made other versions of the same outfit, but the one that most resembles the comic is the one black color with a focus on Golden bracelets character. The same image can be found in comics such as Strange X-Men #268written Chris Claremont and with art Jim Lee.
The Black Widow solo movie is only available on Disney+.
