Cave of the Dragon: Classic Cartoon is getting a comic book sequel

The beloved animated series is back for new adventures… but this time in a comic book!

fans Dragon Cave they dreamed of for many years revival animation that can finally put an end to the story left open. Now it can become reality because IDW Publishing just announced a new comic book series that will continue the plot of the animated series.

Saturday Morning Adventures: Dungeons & Dragons will begin publishing in March 2023 and will feature a story described as “lost episode of the animated series???????? The mini-series will consist of four issues and will be written by David M. Buer ????????Corner) as well as Sam Maggs ????????Rick and Morty forever), with art George Cambadis ????????John Carter from Mars????????

In the synopsis released by the publisher, we have the following:

“Danger lurks around every corner, the mysterious Dungeon Master isn’t much help, and the Avenger, the force of evil, will stop at nothing to get the weapons kids desperately need. On top of that, Hank has made a disturbing discovery: despite the dangers, Sheila, Bobby, Diana, and the others aren’t so sure they want to go home.

It is worth noting that 2023 will be a very interesting year for fans of the franchise. Dungeons and DragonsO RPG who inspired the story Dragon Cave????????
