If you have the money to create animatronics, you have the money to pay your artists an adequate amount. Weta Workshop is a well known company and Avatar 2 is a multi-million dollar movie. Many artists were paid little more than a studio tour crew. Well below the industry average.”

The artist later clarified that $10 an hour was not what he was earning for working on the film. It was the salary he was paid at his old job, which was not as proportionate and not as big a budget as Avatar 2????????
