James Gunn comments on news about DC’s future in theaters and the end of the Snyderverse

The DC Universe in theaters is about to undergo a major restructuring. James Gunn as well as Peter Safran taking charge of DC Studios. Finally, the director made it clear that he could not share exact information at the moment. Part of the reason for this may be that the DC Studios presidents’ own plans aren’t finalized yet, as Gunn explained:

“As for additional answers about the future of the DCU, I will unfortunately have to ask you to wait. We are giving these characters and stories as much time and attention as they deserve, and we ourselves still have a lot of questions to ask and answer.”

An article published by THR states that DC’s new plans will prevent the return of several actors played during the “Snyder era” of DC films.
