During an interview for rotten tomatoesCox shared what it was like to see the costume and how the surprise of discovering a new look for the hero was similar to that of any Marvel fan.
“So I had to go to Los Angeles to try on the outfit. I knew I wasn’t going to use her in Spider-Man, that’s all I knew. But while we were making Spider-Man, we were getting ready for She-Hulk, so I ended up going to LA to try on the outfit. I went in and there was a uniform and a painting and a drawing on the wall, everything was gold and red, and I thought, “This can’t be!”said.
New uniform replaces red production color Netflixand saves the traditional yellow suit created by Bill Everett for editing Daredevil #12 in 1964.
“It’s funny because by playing this character for so long, you end up understanding how the fans will react to the news. So you see something like this and it means a lot to you because you know what it means, what it will mean. You feel how people will react to it. When I saw this, I thought, “Dude, this is surreal.”
Daredevil’s appearance in She-Hulk is just a foretaste of what’s to come. Disney+ has already announced that 2024 will launch a new series for the hero.
