England has declared 17 days of mourning, culminating in a state funeral as London Fashion Week undergoes some changes and the BBC has changed all of its programming. Speaking of entertainment, this is no exception. Crown: Royal family series makes it clear it’s suspending filming next season as a sign of respect.
The announcement has been made Netflix series creator Peter Morganthrough a letter sent Term. Here Morgan reveals that the production of the sixth season Crown will “stop spinning out of respect” for a while. “Crown this is a love letter to her and so far I have nothing to addonly silence and respect. I expect that we will stop filming also out of respect,” Peter Morgan wrote officially.
Creator Promise continues the line of director Stephen Daldry, who directed the first episodes of the series. Crown – and stated that production would stop if something happened to the queen. “None of us knows when that time will come, but it would be right and appropriate to show respect to the queen. It would be just a tribute and a sign of respect. He’s a global figure and that’s what we should be doing,” Daldry said in 2016, shortly after the series debuted on Netflix.
Now that the prediction has come true, Season 6, for which it was so difficult to pick up young William, Harry and Kate Middleton, will be put on hold indefinitely. Then the fans have another doubt: what will happen to the fifth season, which was supposed to hit the small screens in November? There is no definite news yet, but it is possible that its release could be delayed by several months.
