The long-awaited Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson as the anti-hero, promises the debut of several DC Comics characters in films. live action, including Doctor Fate and Hawkman. While it doesn’t state which project the concept was intended for, it’s safe to assume that this version was being developed for Black Adam, as it was one of the last DC projects that Luca was involved with.

Also, in a 2020 interview, Rock, who also produced this feature film, confirmed that Hawkgirl was credited as the film’s writer. Justice Society. However, in later versions of the script, the character was cut and replaced with Hurricane.
