John Balmain wept as he spoke about the footage when he appeared on Sky News in Berlin as a car collided with a crowd of pedestrians.

A man clashed in a popular Berlin shopping district on Tuesday morning, killing one person and injuring more than a dozen. A police spokesman said many were in danger.

The driver was immediately arrested and questioned by the police. A spokesman said it was not yet clear whether the crash was a deliberate act or an accident due to emergency medical care.

Among those who witnessed the incident were his wife Scott Gill and a former Torchwood actor who is currently vacationing in Germany.

Immediately after the accident, John posted a series of updates on his Twitter page, assuring his followers that he was safe and sharing more images.

“That’s really bad for everyone,” he said in the video. “There are a lot of police here. There is a dead body in the middle of the road, and then here is an ambulance service trying to help victims and people.

“Many people are lame and injured and walking… The car went down the sidewalk, down the road, hit someone, went down the road, went back to the sidewalk, went back to the sidewalk and delivered a bunch of people. And directly in the window”.

John called the incident a “terrorist attack” in his footage, but authorities did not.

Returning to the hotel, John and Scott spoke on the Sky News video link. There, a former Dancing on Ice judge wept at the end of the interview.

“This is not what we wanted to wake up to. We had a great time and share it with all our fans on social media like we did on vacation,” she said.

Johnny then drowned in sadness: “I never thought I was in the middle of a terrorist attack.”

The incident occurred at one end of the Kurfürstendamm shopping boulevard and next to the Breitscheidplatz square, where a radical car bomb bombed a Christmas market in 2016, killing 13 people.

In a 2019 central Berlin incident, an SUV crashed into a group of pedestrians in central Berlin, killing four people. The driver had an epileptic seizure and moved to the sidewalk.
