The day began last Thursday, November 9, with a site visit to La Fageda and a conference on business model, management and strategy by Silvia Domenech, Deputy CEO of La Fageda. The next day, Friday, November 10, the session “Model of Caring for People” was led by the technical director of the social sector La Fageda Maria Colon. In the afternoon, a block of themed coffees took place, where each participant was able to attend presentations in the legal, marketing or communication fields. The day ended with a greeting from the founder of the social project, Christopher Columbus.

Social entrepreneurs

The La Fageda Model Conference was born eleven years ago to meet the needs of several entrepreneurs. In this twenty-first edition, entrepreneurs such as the Argentines Alvaro Otero and Paula Arnoldi, promoters of the social project 812hub, went through La Fageda: “Maxi, a boy with intellectual disabilities, inspired us to create a project that would create new inclusive realities and eliminate stereotypes , excluding people with disabilities. We visited La Fageda to learn how the flagship project on social and labor integration works, as well as other experiences that inspire us.”

After twenty-one editions, Faged’s model conferences have become a reference point for entrepreneurs, businessmen and visionaries. Silvia Domenech, CEO of La Fageda, highlights the success. “Since its inception in 2012 to date, the conferences have brought together almost 500 entrepreneurs, helping to consolidate a space for the exchange of experiences aimed at making social entrepreneurship a lever for transforming society,” he said. indicated.
