Second Vice President of the Government and Acting Minister of Labor Yolanda Diaz announced on Tuesday that the Labor Inspectorate opened a new investigation into Glovo for allegedly violating the privacy rights of its employees.

“Today we see that in Spain the labor inspectorate has just launched a new investigation against Glovo because allegedly violates no more and no less than employee confidentiality outside the exercise of his professional activities,” the vice president said.

During his speech at the forum Metafuturo: Cities of the Future organized by the Atresmedia group, Diaz highlighted the progress made in establishing Ryder Law and the importance of approving a European directive on the regulation of digital platforms – a rule that neither the Czech Republic nor the Swedish EU Presidency has been able to implement.
