La Liga unveiled this Monday through its education department LaLiga Business School second edition of the Global Players Programa program dedicated exclusively to active players from LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank, supported by Banco Santander and in partnership with the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) as well as App Players and recently joined by PortAventura World.

In his application for training as an integral part of the sports industry, La Liga has developed this project as a reliable training option for professional footballers. In its first edition “Global Player ProgramIt included 30 professional La Liga players (16 from La Liga Santander from eight different clubs and 14 La Liga SmartBank players from 10 other clubs).

La Liga is a pioneer in all of Europe with this type of program, a bet that highlights the importance that employers attach to the training and care for the needs of the football players who compete in it. The purpose of this program is to provide them with tools and knowledge with whom they can pursue their professional career off the playing field. From La Liga, knowing about footballers’ work schedules, they provide both online and face-to-face course formats so they can make them compatible with their sports calendar.

With regard to face-to-face education andThe program will consist of three days which will take place at La Liga headquarters in Madrid.as soon as the season ends, in June. These conferences will include “master classes” from La Liga managers and clubs, as well as visits to organizations and companies working in the sports industry.

From my side, courses to be taught through streaming They will begin on February 16 and will include the following content: Introduction to the sports industry; audiovisual rights; Marketing and brand; Digital strategy and new technologies; General management of the club; Buying and selling clubs; Legal aspects related to clubs, strategic management and entrepreneurship. La Liga has reached an agreement with the ATP to extend this training for active La Liga players to tennis players.
