The Forbes list of Brazil’s biggest billionaires continues to reveal the wealth of entrepreneurs and shareholders in the country. The magazine also published a special health ranking that the founder of the Joinville-based network is counting on.

This is Candido Pinheiro Coren de Lima, owner of Hapvida, a healthcare provider. The operator is the largest in the north and northeast of Brazil, but is also present in the south. The focus is on a general hospital located in the largest city of Santa Catarina.
According to Forbes, Candido Pinheiro took the company public in April 2018, raising the valuation of the business to R$56 billion.
The entrepreneur takes the second place in the ranking in the field of healthcare with assets of 10.10 billion reais. Candido’s two sons also appear in the ranking.
Hapvida was founded in 1979 and has 294 clinics and 75 emergency departments.
