ADVB/SC (Association of Sales and Marketing Managers of Brazil in Santa Catarina) announced this Monday (3) winners of the ESG 2022 award. 29 companies are represented in 3 categories: management, social (social and cultural) and environmental. The awards ceremony will take place on October 25 at the Chamber of Shopkeepers headquarters in Chapeco.

The ESG Award, formerly the Citizen Company, is given annually to organizations in Santa Catarina that are committed to social responsibility. Even with a new title in 2022, it retains the essence of the award, which has been awarded since 1999 to companies that stand out in the field.

The ESG Award honors institutions that incorporate social culture into their business dynamics, who understand the importance of institutionalizing social responsibility as an issue to be incorporated into daily practice.

Meet the award-winning companies:

Carboniferous river desert

Rio Deserto, awarded the Water for Society case in the Environment category, operates in a coal industry that produces mineral coal used to generate electricity.

Kazan

Casan (Companhia Catarinense de Águas e Saneamento) was awarded with the cases “Trato Pelo Saneamento” and “Programa Jovem Aprendiz – Opening the Doors to the Future” in the “Environment and Social Environment” category.

Diamond Energy

Diamante Energia, an energy company committed to participating in a just energy transition and investing in new sources of energy generation, was awarded the Diamond Energy Theory and Practice, Environmental Education and Organic Waste Cycle case in the Ecology category.

General Motors

Awarded with the “No Landfills – No Landfills General Motors Joinville” and “Programa de Voluntariado GM Joinville” cases in the environmental and social categories, the company operates in the engine industry.

Connect group

Grupo Conecta, an event management company, can advise and organize events. The company was awarded the case “Conexões de Preservam” in the “Environment” category.

Portobello Group

In the field of investment in ceramics, PortoBello Grupo received the Environmental Ambassadors and Sustainability Week awards in the Environment and Governance category.

SulGips

SulGesso, which received the “Butia catarinensis – care and cultivation of this beautiful heritage” award in the “Environment” category, specializes in industrial materials.

Sustainable Enterprises

The company builds subdivisions and condominiums in an innovative and sustainable way.

It has been awarded the cases “Albertina: taking care of what we already have and creating an increasingly sustainable future” and “Feeling of belonging: when a new real estate project integrates harmoniously into an already established community” in environmental and social categories.

Unisocisk (Santa Catarina Educational Society) is an educational, cultural and technological institution awarded the Wild Animal Reception and Sorting Department case in the Ecology category.

Health AsQ

Awarded with a case: “Implementation of a compliance system in a home office model” in the “Management” category, the company offers health management solutions to operators and companies.

Aurora Cup

Aurora Coop, the new institutional brand of Cooperativa Central Aurora Alimentos de Chapecó, was awarded the Aurora Coop Sustainable Rural Real Estate (PRSA) case in the Management category.

Gödert LLC

The company, which sells products and equipment for professional cleaning, received the case “Goedert Group – Obstinados pelo Amanhã” in the “Management” category.

Portonave

A privately owned Brazilian port located at the mouth of the Itajaí River, Portonave received the “Portonave and its ISO 37001 certification” award in the “Management” category.

Almeida Junior

A chain of shopping centers in Santa Catarina was awarded the case “Almeida Junior Group: Pioneer of the SC in the care and approach to people with autism” in the “Social” category.

AVKhRO – Association of Volunteers of the Western Regional Hospital

AVHRO is a non-governmental organization dedicated to patient care, such as clothing donations, visits, guidance, and comfort. The association was awarded with a deed: “Transformação” in the category “Social”.

Banco da Família is a microfinance organization that aims to be a loan alternative for small businesses. He was awarded the case “Atuação Social Banco da Família” in the “Social” category.

Fisk

Fiesc (Federation of Industry of the State of Santa Catarina), awarded the “Retalhos do Bem” case in the social category, is the main organization representing industries in Santa Catarina.

ND group

Awarded with the case “Educa SC: Television and Portal of Santa Catarina that contribute to the social development of education” in the category “Social Networks”. O ND group is a media conglomerate based in Florianopolis, South Carolina.

Renovigi Solar Energy

Renovigi Energia Solar, which received the “Projeto Energia Do Bem” case in the social category, is the largest manufacturer of photovoltaic systems in Brazil.

SKTS SBT

Awarded with the case “For them – you can, we can!” in the Social Media category SCC SBT is a television station based in Florianopolis.

SECI – SC

SESI and SENAI schools are schools that offer technological solutions aimed at education. They were awarded for the case “Tampinha do Bem” in the “Social” category.

Unicred is a cooperative committed to providing financial solutions and economic well-being. Awarded for the ProArte Unicred case in the Social category.

unisul

Unisul (Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina) was awarded for the project “Projeto Gente UniSul” in the “Social Networks” category.

Verde Vida – Educational Seminar Program

Verde Vida – The Education Seminar Program is a social organization that helps vulnerable children and teenagers in Chapeco. She was awarded for the case “Against the shift that is increasing” in the “Social” category.

Beto Carrero

Awarded for the case “School circus – contagious magic” in the “Social” category. Beto Carrero is the largest theme park in Latin America.
