Vodafone responds to Telefónica in its commercial offer by simplifying its offer. If the operator, led by José María Alvarez-Pallet, recently introduced miMovistar so that customers can choose their portfolio as they wish, the red operator has launched its new rates.

The company wanted to make two things clear: first, aggressive bidding ended big discounts. “It’s not about having competitive prices, but about offering a competitive offer,” said Hisham Hendy, director of Vodafone’s consumer division in Spain. As for the hypothetical price increase, Vodafone assured that “they won’t go up in the short term”, but neither scenario can be ruled out in the face of an inflationary scenario.

Simplicity is another matter. Vodafone has canceled the merger of offers it had so far. offer four rates for households and one for businesses. “We need to be simpler so as not to confuse our customers. The invoice should be clean and understandable to make it easier for users,” Hendy said during the presentation of the new tariffs.

The most premium version of Vodafone Unlimited Max provides unlimited data at maximum 5G speed and unlimited national calls for 33 euros per month. This is the most premium option in the mobile-only offer.

Vodafone, which has already closed the door to acquiring football rights due to its high price, may change its mind as the company had an agreement with Dazn to integrate the channel into its TV offering.
