Meat is on the menu in several homes, and those who go to the supermarket often know that the product is very salty. So a good option for those looking to save money in Joinville, north of Santa Catarina, is to follow the Procon survey.
The new survey was conducted in early June at nine supermarkets in the city and shows that research matters when it comes to paying bills: for example, the price difference for filet mignon is as high as 133%, while tenderloin is as high as 110%.
The survey also shows that some commodities have risen in price this month, such as coarse salt, which has risen in price by 87%, as well as ham sausage (25.45%), knee sausage (23.30%) and charcoal (19.92%) .
On the other hand, prices for some items decreased compared to the previous month: pork tenderloin, which fell by 15%, loin (-12.30%), thigh (-11.18) and neck (-7.66).
