Differences between stepfather and stepson became the case of the police in Chapeco in the west of Santa Catarina. The confusion was fixed last Friday evening (10) in the Efapi area.
The PM (military police) received a call around 10:10 pm on Rua Palmitos. At the scene, the victim, a 36-year-old man, reported that he had asked his 21-year-old stepson to leave the house as he wanted privacy with his partner.
The young man got angry, took a knife and tried to hit his stepfather. To protect himself, the man said he threw a liter of cachaça in his stepson’s face, but ended up falling to the ground and the boy stabbed him twice. The blows fell on the left shoulder and near the armpit.
Samu (mobile emergency service) delivered the victim to the UPA (preparedness unit) Efapi. According to the Prime Minister, he was not in danger of death, he just needed stitches at the site of stab wounds. Until the end of the incident, the whereabouts of the suspect was not established.
