The body of Kailane Fagundes da Silva, 20, who went missing on September 30, was found buried in a wooded area on Rua Walter Becker in the Colonia Santana neighborhood of Sao Paulo, wrapped in a black plastic bag.
According to the military police, the body was found around 15:30 this Thursday (13). Also according to the incident, Kaylan had police tickets for a missing person.
The motive and authorship of the crime are unknown. The investigation is ongoing at the ATS (Criminal Investigation Unit) of the Civil Police. The organization suspects that the murder may be linked to a criminal gang.
Social media has been searching for the name of the victim since his disappearance. Netizens supported the family. “Thank you all for your prayers and for sharing,” Sister Kaylan wrote.
As reported on social media, the young woman left home on Friday (30), claiming that she was going to a friend’s house in the municipality of Santo Amaro da Imperatriz. The family contacted a friend who said Kaylan left the same day.
Since then, the victim’s family and friends have been unable to contact the young woman.
