Once again, WEG from Jaragua do Sul, north of Santa Catarina, is among the largest companies in Brazil. This time he was ranked by Isto É Dinheiro magazine.
The yearbook, which has just been published, is based on questionnaires completed by the companies themselves. The assessment includes five criteria for measuring and encouraging good governance: financial sustainability, human resource management, innovation and quality management, social and environmental responsibility, and corporate governance. The data was collected and systematized by the technology company Rentsoft.
All applications have a common person responsible for the information and persons responsible for each part of the questionnaire. The analysis team has not verified the information and believes that the information provided is consistent with best management and business communication practices.
In total, the magazine listed the 1000 largest companies in Brazil. WEG ranked 41st with a revenue of R$23.5 million last year, up nearly 35% from 2020. The company’s profit also increased from 2.3 million reais to 3.5 million reais.
