Political allies of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) reacted to singer Anitta’s statement in support of the candidacy of former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the 2022 elections on Monday (11) on social media.
On Twitter, Anitta said that “she’s with Lula and that she’ll do everything in her power to help him blow up the internet, as long as it’s not against election law.”
She has stated that her position is now “Lulala” following the death of PT treasurer Marcelo Arruda, who was shot dead at his birthday party by Jorge da Rocha Guaragno, a supporter of Republic President Jair Bolsonaro.

I am not a PT and never have been. But this year I’m with Lula and anyone who wants my help to make it rock here on the web, on tiktok, on twitter, on instagram, just ask me what, being within my reach and not violating electoral law, I will do it.

The son of the incumbent President Carlos Bolsonaro (Republican) responded to the singer by posting an old video of Anitta in which she questions lawyer Gabriela Priolli about the functioning of the three powers in Brazil.

Federal MP Carla Zambelli (PL) also criticized Anitta’s position, saying that the singer supported the “bandit”. In response, the singer stated that she knows that Lula is a former prisoner, but “he is also a person.”
Businessman Luciano Hang also expressed his opinion on Anitta’s position, asking that “God have mercy on the Brazilian people.” Verify:
People are not stupid. This is the country you want for your future. God have mercy on the Brazilians. No miracle happens. pic.twitter.com/OcQrI31IbL
