The body of an unidentified man was found by the inhabitants of Araquari, north of Santa Catarina, on Monday night (20).
It was around 8 pm when the residents of Rainha on the shore of BR-101 noticed the presence of vultures in a pasture in the area. As they got closer, they saw that it was a corpse.
Arakuari volunteer firefighters rescued the victim, who was already in a state of decomposition. The military, civilian and scientific police were also called and the body was sent to the IML (Medical Institute of Law) in Joinville.
At the time of the rescue, the cause of death could not be determined, and the police will investigate it.
