A man drowned on the central beach of Balneario Camboriu, on the northern coast of SA, on the night of this Sunday (11th) during Carnival. He was found with cardiopulmonary arrest and did not respond to resuscitation procedures.
Firefighters were called to a drowning around 9:45 p.m. on the 2400 block of Central Praia.
Crews arrived on scene on ATVs to find a man lying on the sand in cardiopulmonary arrest. Resuscitation procedures were used and the SAMU team was also called along with the advance team and went to the scene.
The man’s identity has not been established.
The SAMU doctor confirmed the death of the victim, whose identity was not established, since he had no documents and had tattoos on his body, the report says.
The IGP (Institute of General Experts) and IML (Institute of Medical Law) were called to collect the body.
