The 29-year-old woman was the victim of sexual assault at around 4am on Sunday (17) at the Speedway music park in Balneario Camboriu, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina.

According to municipal security, the worker was filming the scene when she was surprised by a 41-year-old man who grabbed her from behind.

The sexual harassment occurred while the victim was working in Balneario Camboriu.

According to security forces, after grabbing the victim from behind, the 41-year-old man wrapped his arms around the woman’s neck and rubbed his private parts against her. The attack was even captured on video by an employee.

After being sexually assaulted, she freed herself from her attacker and was rescued by security, who ejected the man from the event. When municipal security arrived on the scene, they found him near the Speedway music park, detained by security guards.

The suspect was taken to the DPS (police duty center) for appropriate procedures. Law No. 13718 of 2018 states that the practice of sexual harassment, unless it constitutes a more serious crime, carries a prison sentence of one to five years.
