This Thursday morning (1st) in Itajaí, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, began with civil and military police vehicles moving through the streets. According to preliminary information, this is the second stage of Operation X to investigate the robberies of bank branches in Itajai.

As of Thursday morning, seven people had been arrested and weapons seized. At 11:00 AM, the ATS (Criminal Investigation Unit) will answer questions from the press to provide more details on the operation, which is still ongoing.
However, according to investigators, the suspects robbed at least four banking institutions in the region.
