While investigating a domestic violence case, Blumenau military police seized drugs at the home of a 23-year-old man suspected of assaulting his girlfriend, a 21-year-old woman. The case was registered on Wenceslau Kugik Street in the Vila Nova district.
According to the military police, upon arrival at the mother’s house, the suspect’s brother could have caught him beating his girlfriend. He provoked the corporation, but the man had already fled when the officers arrived on the scene.
The brother also said that there could be drugs in the house, since, according to him, the suspect had criminal moves and was under investigation by the civilian police. A search of the site found 52 ecstasy tablets and another can of marijuana.
The military police also said that the suspect’s girlfriend lived in the house and was therefore brought to the center of the police station along with her son-in-law for legal proceedings.
According to delegate Bruno Effori, who received the file at the police centre, the suspect’s brother reported that the young woman had no drug dealings, only with her partner. However, the woman explained that she is a drug addict, and her boyfriend supports her addiction.
Despite what was presented, the woman was released, and the location of the suspect has not yet been established. He continues to be investigated, but now for another crime – drug trafficking.
