On the night of this Thursday (May 25), a major fire broke out at a transport company on the BR-101 highway at km 95 in Barra Velha, on the north coast of Santa Catarina. The fire started around 6:30 pm.

According to the fire department, the aircraft carrier is located near the entrance to Medeiros in a city on the north coast. Teams of volunteer firefighters from Joinville arrived on the scene to help put out the flames. Check out the images recorded by the NDTV Record TV team:

Firefighters from Itajaí, Navegantes, Balneario Camboriu and Itapema were also called to extinguish the fire at the company, which started after the end of the working day. There are no reports of injuries.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at the moment the fire is localized within the structure of the barn. “The main focus is on preserving the structure of the barn and preventing the spread of fire to neighboring buildings,” the crew said.
