A 35-year-old man attacked his wife, a 36-year-old woman, with a knife in Chapeco, west of Santa Catarina. The crime took place in the Palmital area around 9 pm on Friday (24). The couple’s daughter tried to intervene and ended up being injured.
The victim’s neighbors caught the man and held him until the PM (military police) arrived. Witnesses reported that the suspect came home drunk, forced the door and stabbed his wife several times.
The couple’s daughter, realizing the aggression, attempted to intervene and sustained injuries to her left arm. Neighbors, having heard the screams, approached the house, and when they saw what was happening there, they had to use force to avoid the attack, according to the police.
Given the facts, Samu was summoned to the woman, who was sent to the UPA for treatment of her injuries, and the suspect and witnesses were sent to the police station for appropriate procedures.
