On Saturday afternoon (18), two men were arrested for drug trafficking in the Fortaleza Alta area, in Blumenau, in the Itajai valley. One of them put packets of drugs in his mouth and tried to hide from the police.

According to the Military Police, the garrison of the tactical group received a complaint about a man who is involved in the sale of drugs in the region. During the observation, law enforcement officers found the suspect sitting on the side of a public road, waiting for a vehicle to approach the scene.

Realizing the presence of the car, he stuffed several bags into his mouth and ran into the house. The police came up and through the window saw drugs on the bed, as well as an accurate scale for weighing drugs.

Upon entering the house, the police approached two men, aged 37 and 26. In one of them bushes of fractionated cocaine were found. The second defendant did not have drugs, but he admitted his involvement in the drug trade and assumed that the material found was his, that he packed and sold things.

Precision scales, three cell phones, 421 reais in cash, and crushed cocaine for 51 barrels were found in the house.

The two men were arrested and handed over to the Civilian Police Centre, along with the seized materials.
