An unidentified woman was treated after the car she was in overturned at the entrance to Guatamba, west of Santa Catarina. The Chapeco military fire brigade was called around 6:30 p.m. Friday (17).

The victim was in Corsa Hatch, as the fire truck went off the track, and then hit the crossbar, after which it rolled over. The woman was lying outside the car, she was examined and sent to the HRO (Regional Hospital do Oeste) emergency room.

Woman injured in car collision

Another accident was recorded on the BR-163 in Barracao, in the extreme west of Parana, on the border with Santa Catarina. As a result of a collision between two cars, a 48-year-old woman was seriously injured.

On Friday around 18:30 the Dionísio Cerqueira/SC fire department received a call (17). The victim was in WV Gol with Dionísio Cerqueira plates and had several injuries.

As the cars fell into the ravine, the woman was pulled out with an electric winch. She was examined and sent to the city hospital.

The other driver of the Ford Fusion, a silver one, was not injured, firefighters said. The PM (Military Police) of Barracao as well as the PRF (Federal Highway Police) Planalto/PR were also activated.
