After returning from church, a family came across a king cobra in their backyard. Fortunately – or unfortunately – the five-meter snake with a full mouth was feeding on a lizard.
An article on Tancot published on the 13th highlights events that occurred in the Muang district of Krabi Province in Thailand.
After meeting with the predator, relatives called a group in the region that specialized in catching snakes. The snake was removed from the yard.
The removal of the view raised many doubts among Internet users. “Why not let her eat before you take her down?” — a social network user asked in the comments. An opposing comment asked why the tusk was not removed.
“The digestive tract of a snake is designed in such a way as to deliver prey to the stomach. The emphasis is not on removing the victim from the womb. Snakes feel a lot of pain when they take their prey out of their stomach,” another Internet user countered.

This species carries strong symbolism of Thailand and is even interpreted as a harbinger of good luck. It is still considered the largest venomous snake in the world. It’s almost like an anaconda with venom – anacondas don’t have venom, but they’re huge.
According to National Geographic, it can reach a length of about 5.4 meters. “The amount of neurotoxin they can release in one bite, up to 59 milliliters, is enough to kill 20 people or even an elephant,” the North American channel reports.
