The military fire service of Santa Catarina discovered on Tuesday (12) the body of a drowned man who had been missing at sea in Balneario Pizarras since last Sunday (10). He was accompanied by a dog, whose whereabouts have not been established.
According to the garrison, the body was found very close to where he was last seen plunging, at the intersection of Rua 1000 and Avenida José Temistocles de Macedo.
He was twenty years old and was being cared for by the PM-SC (Military Police of Santa Catarina). The reasons for the drowning are still unknown.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim entered the sea approximately 470 meters from the nearest rescue station, in a place unguarded by the service.

The corporation has been searching for the boy since last Monday (11) using a Cioba watercraft. Before he was found, people claiming to be his friends approached a military rescue worker to report his disappearance.
According to the rescue team, the man was walking with his dog along the beach, going in and out of the sea. When he was close to Molhe, about 470 meters away, he dived with the animal and was unable to return.
