Former police chief Mauro Diaz, who was responsible for the Elise Matsunaga case, was interviewed on the Arquivo Vivo podcast and revealed new details of the story. The content was published by the R7 portal.
Elise became known as the woman who killed her husband, businessman Marcos Matsunaga, in 2012. Elise served 10 of the 16 years and 10 months in prison when she was eligible to serve her sentence outside.
Diaz said in an interview that he spoke with a reverend who was close to the couple, “he said that he warned Elisa’s husband that she might kill him.”
The former delegate also stated that “she (Eliza) is completely out of her mind; the term “decompensation” was used. It wasn’t her.
