In a new interview given Happy sad embarrassed talk about Agent Stonehis latest project, Jamie Dornan said that he even went through a trial casting for the role of Superman – and in the end he did it in a very unusual way, putting on his own “suit” of the hero:
“The only one I auditioned for was Superman. It was a long time ago when Henry Cavill was cast. It was probably twelve years ago or something like that. I wore my clothes there. Was it a mistake? It was Superman’s pajamas, not a suit. I remember my audition went well at first. I didn’t even come close to delivering [verdadeira] cloth. I had meetings with studio executives who talked about these things, but I never really delved into the audition process.”
Interestingly, Dornan is currently filming with Gal GadotWonder Woman, in Agent StoneNew film Netflix espionage.
Although Cavill won the role, his path as Superman was quite tumultuous, especially after his participation in Justice League. Since then, the actor has only returned for a short role in black adambut currently he is no longer the Superman of cinemas.
Now this role falls to David Korenswetwho makes his debut as a hero in Superman: Legacynew movie scripted and directed James Gunn which should serve as a new blow to dc universealmost like reload from DC Extended Universe.
