An impressive video of a trap set by a boto on the edge of a beach spooked a fisherman who was filming the area. In the pictures, the man captured how, during the attack, the fish fought at the water’s edge.
![The video of the alleged attack by the botos has impressed the Internet due to the unusual method used by the animal, as well as the fact that it is a possible attack on humans.](https://static.ndmais.com.br/2023/07/copia-de-foto-frame-de-video-p-portal-nd-2023-07-17t124631660-800x420.png)
Some netizens even joked, saying, “If it was a married woman, both would not forgive this.”
Who solves this “mystery” behind the trap is the Biomesquita YouTube channel. The expert explains at the beginning of the video that the likelihood that an animal will set up such a situation is zero.
“Actually, the boto was chasing this fish, and, escaping from the boto, the fish ended up in the dry part, literally throwing itself out of the water.”
The biologist then claims that the man actually “intervened” while hunting the dolphins.
“Probably because the fish was fighting, it made a lot of noise and ended up attracting a predator that was looking for it again.”

The biologist also explains that although these animals are large predators and can reach intimidating sizes, reaching 2 meters in length, they are harmless.
“They are not interested in preying on humans, they are only interested in us because they are extremely curious and intelligent,” says Biomesquita.
