So far this Monday, 17 flights between departures and arrivals (10) have been canceled at Florianopolis Airport. The problem was caused by chaos at the Congonhas airport in the southern zone of São Paulo, when a small plane had its landing gear punctured and blocked the runway for nine hours.
The situation has now returned to normal. Passengers were moved by airlines with the support of airport support.
According to Florip Airport’s advice, those affected should seek out the ticketing company to reorganize flights.
The incident has affected travel across the country since Sunday (9). The information was confirmed by Infraero, the public company responsible for the management of Brazilian airports. At least 190 flights were canceled in Sao Paulo.
Prohibition of operations
After a nearly nine-hour ban in which takeoff and landing operations were halted, a withdrawal maneuver was carried out around 22:18 and other flights were cleared. There were five people on the plane, none of them were injured.
From this Sunday (9) noon to this Monday (10) morning, 102 of the company’s flights went through changes between cancellations and re-routing, Gol said.

According to Infraero, 140 flights were canceled as a result of the incident, 73 departing and 67 arriving. The cancellations affected at least 13 states and the Federal District.
