The attack on Argentine Vice President Cristina Kirchner has received yet another development. Argentinean police arrested this Wednesday (14) a fourth suspect in connection with the assassination attempt. Information taken from local newspaper Clarín and Poder360.
According to police information for the Clarín newspaper, a fourth suspect, Gabriel Nicolás Carrizo, is under investigation for leading a group of cotton candy vendors. Also according to the news, this group included Brenda Uliarte, a girlfriend of Brazilian crime writer Fernando Sabag Montiel.
On Carrizo’s mobile phone, the police were able to read conversations with Brenda the day after the attack, on 1 September. According to the newspaper, the “cotton candy gang” has already tried to assassinate the vice president at least twice.

The investigation also showed that Montiel and Ularte planned another attack for 27 August, but were unable to put it into practice due to the presence of cameras at the scene.
Four arrested for the crime
In addition to Gabriel Nicolás Carrizo, Brazilian Fernando Sabag Montiel, 35, Brenda Uliarte, 23, and Agustin Diaz, Brenda’s friend, 21, were also arrested.
