“We made an appointment to hear it on Friday,” said Claudio Sanchez, an investigator at the Rio das Antas police station.
Ademir Auler has been missing since Sunday evening (12), when he last contacted his family around 20:40. He would have spent the day preparing a feast for the patron saint of Rio das Antas.

Ademir’s wife, Marley Grison, said her husband went home to barbecue around 12 noon and then returned to the party.
“The last time he answered me was Sunday evening. He said he was closing the pavilion [onde ocorria a festa] and was already returning home. I didn’t have any further information or contacts after that,” Marley said in an interview before her husband was found.
Ademir had an accident and left the car, a red Siena, open and with the key in the ignition. The accident could have happened early Monday morning (13).
Marley learned about the accident through the fire department. The truck driver drove along the highway, saw the car on the bank of the BR and called for help.
Firefighters found the Siena car, but the driver was not at the scene. The car doors were closed, the key was in the ignition. Searches were carried out in the region, but to no avail.
The civil police are following this case.
The missing person report was registered on Tuesday morning (14). The information was passed on to the civilian police department investigating the disappearance.
According to Sanchez, Ademir was found to have left Rio das Antas and headed for the city of Videira, where he could be seen passing bars with other people. When he returned home around 5 am on Monday, he was supposed to have been in an accident and there was no news after that.
Ademir was spotted at a bus stop in the municipality of Videira on Monday evening. He would buy a ticket to the city of Tijukas on the coast of Santa Catarina.
